Coaching

Whether you’re in the middle of a conflict with someone else and need some perspective and strategizing, or in conflict with yourself about how you show up in the world, coaching can help.
From two sessions to 20, we’ll align our meetings to your goals and timeline.

Values identification

What’s most important to us might not be clear. The coaching process creates space for self-reflection in order to uncover hopes, goals, or values that provide a map to fulfillment in our personal and/or professional lives. Without the coach’s active listening and championing, we might miss or dismiss our own dreams.

conflict competence and confidence

We’re not our “best selves” when we’re in conflict. We tend to react unconsciously instead of respond intentionally. We’re not very collaborative, or even nice (to ourselves or others). And if we’ve had bad experiences with conflict in the past, we bring all that baggage with us into the new situation. The coach helps pull us out of the negative thinking patterns and into a constructive and planful space, gaining confidence to engage effectively along the way.

engaging with our privileged identities for real change

This unique form of coaching helps those of us with privileged identities come to terms with what they mean for us and how we might use them to further social justice. Non-judgmental but challenging, this intervention moves beyond guilt and shame to accountability and action through self-reflection and learning.
